Structure and Electrical Performance of “ST-gel”

Since “ST-gel” contains moisturizers and electrolytes in the polymer matrix that forms the gel, it exhibits various characteristics including adhesiveness, dry resistance, conductivity etc. An electrode which combines “ST-gel” and an electrode element can be adhered stably onto the skin, it can sense a minute current using its conductivity, and it can flow a current generated by the device through to the human body.

Return Electrodes for Electrosurgical Instruments

A return electrode (earth electrode) used for surgery which utilizes an electric scalpel (electrosurgical instrument). There are conductive-type and electrostatic capacitive-type return electrodes, and we have return electrodes in a variety of sizes for everyone from adults to extremely low-weight babies to accommodate different patient weights.

ECG Electrodes for Examinations

We offer resting ECG electrodes (electrodes for electrocardiogram examinations). Employs a gel material (HIT grade) which demonstrates adequate adhesiveness even in small areas. High adhesiveness is demonstrated immediately after being adhered to the skin which allows a stable examination.

Electrodes for Electrical Stimulation Devices

We offer electrodes and gel pads used for electrical stimulation devices such as TENS, EMS, etc. Can be used repeatedly without a sense of irritation caused by passing the electric current.

Gel Taping

It is a taping that is used for purposes of fixing, relieving pain, etc. Since taping which uses “ST-gel” is gentle on the skin and imposes less chance of causing a rash, it can be used for those who have sensitive skin and cannot use standard taping. Also used in research into preventing locomotive syndrome.
